1. Our services

Edutantra provides a cloud-based school management platform for K-12 schools, colleges, and multi-branch institutions in India. Services may include academic management, HR, finance, communication, administration, optional add-on modules, and dedicated portals for administrators, teachers, students, and parents.

Edutantra is offered as a managed platform. Onboarding, provisioning, training, and ongoing support are provided by Edutantra Operations unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We may update, improve, or discontinue features over time. We will use reasonable efforts to notify subscribing institutions of material changes that affect their use of the Platform.

2. Website use

You may use our public website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through forms or enquiries
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, networks, or Platform
• Use automated tools to scrape, probe, or overload the website without permission
• Copy, reproduce, or republish website content except as permitted by law or with our written consent
• Use the website in any way that violates applicable law or infringes the rights of others

3. Platform accounts & access

Access to the Edutantra Platform is provided to authorised users of subscribing institutions. User accounts are created and managed by the institution's administrators.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify your institution's administrator immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

Institutions are responsible for assigning appropriate roles and permissions to staff and ensuring users comply with these Terms and applicable policies.

4. Institution responsibilities

Subscribing schools and colleges are responsible for:

• Ensuring data entered into the Platform is accurate and lawfully collected
• Obtaining necessary consents from students, parents, employees, and other data subjects
• Configuring roles, permissions, and integrations appropriate to their organisation
• Training their staff on acceptable use of the Platform
• Complying with applicable education, privacy, finance, and employment laws

5. Fees & subscriptions

Edutantra does not publish standard pricing on the website. Fees, modules, and payment terms are provided through custom proposals and subscription agreements following a demo and scoping process.

Unless otherwise stated in a customer agreement, fees are due as invoiced. Late or non-payment may result in suspension of services after reasonable notice.

6. Intellectual property

The Edutantra name, logo, website content, software, designs, documentation, and underlying technology are owned by or licensed to rohitwebco and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subscribing institutions receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform during an active subscription for their internal institutional purposes, subject to these Terms and their agreement with us.

Institutions retain ownership of their data entered into the Platform. We do not claim ownership of school records, student information, or content uploaded by customers.

7. Acceptable use

Users must not misuse the Platform. Prohibited conduct includes:

• Uploading malware, harmful code, or unlawful content
• Harassing, abusing, or impersonating others
• Circumventing security controls or accessing data without authorisation
• Using the Platform to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages outside institutional purposes
• Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code except where permitted by law

We may suspend or restrict access for violations that pose security, legal, or operational risk.

8. Availability & support

We aim to provide reliable access to the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and circumstances beyond our reasonable control may cause temporary downtime.

Support is provided to subscribing institutions through Edutantra Operations, including ticket-based support and onboarding assistance as described in the customer agreement.

9. Disclaimers

The website and Platform are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Edutantra is a software tool to assist institutional operations. Institutions remain responsible for academic, financial, HR, and compliance decisions made using the Platform.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, rohitwebco and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the website or Platform.

Our total aggregate liability for claims relating to the services shall not exceed the fees paid by the subscribing institution to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnity

Institutions agree to indemnify and hold harmless rohitwebco from claims, damages, and expenses arising from their misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, unlawful data processing, or breach of applicable law — except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate website access or Platform access for violations of these Terms, security risks, or non-payment under a subscription agreement, subject to applicable notice requirements.

Upon termination of a subscription, institutions may request data export subject to their agreement and applicable law. We may retain certain records as required for legal, billing, or security purposes.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

We encourage institutions to contact us first to resolve concerns before pursuing formal dispute resolution.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website or Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, where permitted by law.
