Common questions

Does each user type get a separate login?

Yes. Administrators, teachers, students, and parents each have dedicated secure login URLs — with school detected from email, phone, subdomain, or URL path.

Are the portals mobile-friendly?

Yes. All four portals work in the browser on phones and tablets today. Native Android and iOS apps built with Flutter are in development for teacher, student, and parent roles — the administrator portal will remain web-only.

Will there be native mobile apps?

Yes. We are building Flutter mobile apps for teachers, students, and parents — attendance, homework, fees, alerts, and daily updates on the go. The administrator portal is not planned as a native app; school leadership continues to use the full web dashboard.

Can we control what each role sees?

Yes. Role-based permissions let administrators control access granularly — custom roles can be created for staff beyond the default portal types.

How do parents and students get access?

Accounts are provisioned during school onboarding. Edutantra Operations configures portals and credentials as part of the go-live process.
